Dr Chris Hart , BSc. B.D.Sc. (Hons) M.Phil, graduated with honours from the University of Queensland Dental School and later completed a Master of Philosophy in Biomedical Science at Cambridge University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Physiology.
He has over 25 years of experience in dentistry and has founded or co-founded a number of respected dental and healthcare organisations, including Life Time Smiles, National Dental Care, Oventus Medical, Dental Sleep Care Alliance, iHeart Sleep, and most recently iHeart Smiles.

Dr Hart is well known for his expertise in advanced and reconstructive dentistry and has trained many dentists in full-mouth reconstruction and implant dentistry through the Australasian Institute of Reconstructive Dentistry.

He also has a strong focus on dental sleep medicine, particularly the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea and snoring for patients who are unable to tolerate CPAP therapy. He led several major clinical studies and helped introduce these therapies in Australia, Canada, and the United States.

Dr Hart now practises locally at iHeart Smiles in Tweed Heads and Mermaid Beach, offering digital dentistry, implant dentistry, aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry, general dental care, as well as treatment for complex conditions such as failing dentistry, temporomandibular dysfunction (TMJ), craniofacial pain, snoring, and sleep apnoea.
